Introduction:
This novel tells the story of Qin Meng as the heroine, in the school has just turned into a series of disturbances. As Qin Meng is chinese-American, the novel naturally revolves around stereotypes and racism. In the novel, you can see how Qin Meng changes people’s impression of her and makes friends with her unusual operation. (※ I will not reveal the specific content of the plot, but the pictures and text are small, so please watch with the outline below.)

Brief introduction:
The reason why I do this project is because of an assignment from my English teacher. The homework is to ask each of us to finish an English graphic novel, the novel at least 10 groups; If you work in groups, you have to do 25 groups. I finished 40 sets alone, because I was very interested in the English graphic novel assignment at that time, because as long as you fit the theme or key words given by the teacher, you can play at will. In addition, I also came up with very good themes and inspirations at that time, so that Under the strong impetus of my own interest, I finished 40 groups with all my might. In this project, I applied the four abilities of writing communication, innovative thinking, aesthetic education and self-regulation. And in the whole project, there is no one to help me, all the work is done by myself. I am very satisfied with this project and have a sense of achievement, because I completed the whole project by myself, including retouching the article, writing the script, painting, typesetting, designing the mirror and so on. I could not have drawn as many as 40 groups, but I finished the first chapter (20 groups for each chapter) under the impetus of interest at the beginning, and I was very curious about the following plot. So I set a goal: to finish the second chapter. I have laid more suspense in the second chapter and solved the problems in the first chapter. The novel itself also combines my very strong personal style and various and innovative thinking. In the whole novel, the logic is very clear, and the characters have distinct personalities. In various places, I also buried a lot of suspense. The character and way of thinking of the heroine in this novel are also different from others, so you will see some very interesting scenes in the novel, which will make you want to wonder: what on earth is the heroine thinking? What’s her personality like? What has she been through? This is a very interesting suspense in the whole novel. I am sure you will love this interesting novel.

  • Dialogue:
  • Peter: what can’t you do? It’s just to teach you a lesson.

  • Qin meng: that’s just because… You are closer, I can use taekwondo against you!
  • Narrator:
  • qin meng hands clenched fists, a kick to Peter’s stomach, the other two blows down Abel and Angus, finally closed the fist, a long sigh.
  • Act 18:
  • Background: the equipment storage room in the school gymnasium
  • Dialogue:
  • Qin meng: if you didn’t want to teach me, I would not be like this. The reason why you are like this is all your own doing! Fortunately, I met you this time. If you had changed to someone else, it would have been a big deal! Before you do anything, would you please think about the consequences? I won’t say anything about it this time. As a price, I hope you won’t find fault with others without knowing the whole story like this time. If this happens to me again, I will teach you a lesson!
  • Scene 19:
  • Background: the equipment storage room in the school gymnasium
  • Dialogue:
  • Abel: but… We’re just asking you for money, huh?
  • Qin meng: hey?
  • Angus: at best it’s just a lecture on your rowdy behavior!
  • Qin meng: ah?
  • Peter: we won’t do that again! Please leave us alone this time!
  • Qin meng: hey ~! ?
  • Scene 20:
  • Background: the equipment storage room in the school gymnasium
  • Dialogue:
  • Qin meng: really, really sorry! Because of my recklessness, I struck and wounded you! I was the one who didn’t understand the situation! And please forgive me!
  • Peter: no, no, now that we know who you are, we will never misunderstand you like that again! Please don’t apologize!
  • Abe: we apologize to you, too! We used to view Chinese people with prejudice, but now we know that there are exceptions.
  • Peter & Abel & Angus: I’m so sorry!

End: qin meng(QM)

Self-reflection
Through the completion of this project, I exercised some of my abilities, because I had already used the above four abilities when I was making this graphic novel. As I continue to improve the novel, I am also constantly honing my ability. For example, I need to consider whether there are logical holes in the whole novel. Are there unreasonable or disjointed actions and actions in the plot? Did I use the right words for the characterization and modeling? Does it reflect their personality perfectly? Is there any suspense in the story that people want to see? Do I cater to readers’ preferences in terms of language and overall description? Do I do a good job of framing and painting so that people know exactly what they’re doing? These are the problems that I have been thinking about and improving while making this novel and constantly improving it. In this process, My ability to use gradually grew, so that the next time I encountered something similar, I would pay attention to the problem in advance, or need to pay attention to the place.
I think I’ve done a good job with the novel, and the whole process is basically one. There were changes, but that was a minor problem. I have put a lot of effort and attention to detail into this novel in order to make it perfect, and although there may be some parts of the final product that are not perfect, I am quite satisfied with the result.
While I’m happy, there are still a few things to note: What more could I change to make the plot more dramatic? Plump up the characters? Make the whole book more interesting? What goals can I set for myself next time? What scripts do You write to hone your writing skills? What can I draw to improve my painting skills? These are the problems I have noticed this time. I can continue to improve next time and strive to do my best.
