——Introduction(Creative Thinking)

This is a project that we developed in the context of the outbreak at the beginning of the semester when the coronavirus is still serious. we found out people are concerned about safety issue of take out food because of multiple contact during delivery process, but some of them can’t cook  themselves. And the biggest problem is that all the recipes out there are focused on what the step is but not on how to exactly do it . So we decided to make a new menu with details teaching through brainstorming and combining life experience, and evaluated the feasibility of the idea through periodic output and user feedback at any time. 

We clearly know our user groups, a group of cook a beginner, need is not common recipe, but a step by step details, have experience included recipes, so it also makes us understand when doing the product and what is the difference between ordinary recipe exists, by analogy constantly monitor the uniqueness and advantages of us. 

I sorted out the key points and detailed internal principles of each task according to our stage goals and gave them to team members, and emphasized and explained the task details for many times

These are some part of the task that I took apart from our phased goal. For example, at the beginning of the project, if we want to make a recipe to solve the pain point of new cooks, we must need to know what they need, so there is the task of starting to investigate and interview.

In order to keep our output on track at every stage, I often take people to coaches for advice on internal solutions, as well as to find people to test the products.

After collection, we are adjusting the product Settings accordingly.

In addition, in the process of our overall project output becoming more and more clear, I found that in-depth interviews with users and coaches really benefited me a lot. Such as that the output that we initially envisioned was a little program or App,  but after talking to coaches, analyzing users’ needs, and scheduling, we finally focused on the content output, so we had the current version. 

——Self-reflection(Self awareness)

I think I needed to have a completely different mindset when it comes to Posting tasks, pushing them before they are due, and talking to the person dragging DDL, In the latter two stages, I will focus more on examining whether I was using rigid thinking to look at people who are dragging DDL. In case me asks angrily what happened to them but they’re really had something to delay could appear oneself very inhumanity. 

Also when the team has on a meeting, friction is inevitable. What annoys me most is that some people did’t know what they are doing during the meeting and asked around after the meeting what they need to do. At such moments I find that my mood changes are reflected directly in my face, like stirring up my eyebrows, frowning or pouting. When I recognize these changes I usually relieve the anger by taking a deep breath. 

I found that I have the advantage of hot the field in every silence situation, with the idea that I’m going to organize since no one’s coming out. also received feedbacks about this from my team members. 

——Self-reflection(Collaboration)

Our team consists of operators, products and media. The operator is mainly responsible for promoting and organizing our progress. The product person is responsible for setting different stages of output according to the goals. Media personnel are mainly responsible for external communication and publicity. 

As a media person in the team, I was also responsible for the promotion of operation, the detailed short-term goals, the arrangement of tasks, and the work of product personnel. I shouldered the due responsibilities, and for people who don’t do much or are having a hard time running and producing, I also constantly being encouraged to keep their work from stagnating. 

I think we are really a team that is progressing smoothly. Our work scope was to constantly improve the output with detailed recipe as the core, and constantly confirm whether the phased output is on the right track through feedback. We did not set too many team rules, but according to the most basic supervision not to delay the DDL and timely repair of DDL, so there is no big adjustment in the output of each stage.

I am very glad that we are a team with a lot of ideas, and every time when brainstorming I would prepare a few ideas in advance and speak them out first in the meeting to help people develop their ideas, and then I would keep awake during the process of others’ speaking, so I would generate new ideas through other people’s ideas. In this process, we respected everyone’s ideas and opinions. Any different opinions were balanced by all of us to make the final decision. Because my values are based on the collective good, but there must be some people who have different views with me, so we welcome different opinions.
