It’s the time for finishing our first project when I write this report, actually we hadn’t tried our plans even once until Thursday’s lunch time. I think it’s really a negative attitude for us to trade our project, although we had thought a lot of schemes before, none of them were acted by us, the reason why this will happen is the excuse of “We can’t achieve this” or “This is not a clear idea now”. I remember I have heard about “To try your ideas but don’t just thinking!” for so many times and also from different people, but I can’t get out of my comfortable zone from the beginning to the end. I also felt uncomfortable with the situation of I have finished nothing even half month passed, if I don’t want to feel like that again, something must to be change.
At the last few days I finally start our experiments. Not to be expect, our tests have faced some problems we haven’t considered, at that moment time already become really urgency for us, things we do becoming a little bit chaos, it must reduce our quality on the output.
From what I had undergo in this project I realized the ability of execution can decide the result of a plan, and when I concentrate on doing our project I felt that I don’t need to worried about how to make sure what to do because I just can know what should I do next during a test, though we only tried together for one hour, I think the efficiency we have was large higher than thinking for a week.
For next project I believe I will try more and not only find ideas from the internet but also from my experiments!
About light
When people hear the world ‘light’ what will they think about? For me, is a light beam. In my mind light beam is a big group of light, some of them distribute as a clear structure, some of them may stay as a line, just like human’s cooperation, in groups there are clear divisions and also chaotic organization. I like this phenomenon very much. In variety of light beams I like the sun light beam the best. It is on behalf of warm, hope and life.
Imagine you are in winter now, there are trees around you, the temperature is in such a cold degree, shivery cold. At that time a sun light beam come into your eyes, for you it’s like an oasis in the desert, who don’t want to rush in this warm light? It’s truly a hope for people.
Next I want to talk about the most useful light in people’s life, artificial light. With the improvement of science and technology, light has become an indispensable resource in people’s life, and there are many kinds of light, especially the differences on its colors. We all know that light we use in our room are white light and warm light, one is brighter and another one is softer for people’s eyes. Is it might decide by the color of the light? I thought about this question in my mind, fluorescent color or cool color maybe more bright than warm color in this rule. But in my observe it is difficult to find the real law in this. Orange is warm color so the light of it is soft, red also like that. But yellow, purple and dark blue are really especial in this cause, so maybe how bright the color is also will influence the light.
Light can also make different scene and feel for people. A typical example is in horror movies the scary part always created by the somber ray of light. And in a rainforest morning’s sun light can let you feel the beauty of this forest, but in the night, darkness will only bring fear and uncertainly things to people. Maybe I can summarize them in some examples, dark light is a symbol of mystery and bright light make people feel relieved. But these aren’t suitable for every situation. In some place lights max in a strange way, this will also make people feel uncomfortable somewhere, so it is means environments is one of the reasons why lights can have so many possibility.
All in all light is a funny things in human’s life, it’s everywhere and it’s very helpful for us. In the world of lights there are still so many things that people can explore and find more interests of light.
