By William Kamkwamba.
This a book I read in the English Language ArtⅡ. It is about a boy in Malawi, Africa, named William building a windmill that could provide electricity to his home. Also the process of him as a young boy been mocked because dropping out from school, but still reading, studying on his own…
Prologue.
What did the prologue talk about?
In the prologue of the boy who harnessed the wind, I find that it all talk about the villagers are expecting the William to start his creation. Which is the wind driven generator that he had himself.
What kind of person do you think William is like?
After reading the prologue, I can’t say I have a comprehensive understanding of him, but through the thing he had done, I can tell that he is really hardworking and very good at self learning. Also, to make a wind driven generator needs manipulative ability.
What questions do you have for William and this book?
I have wonder for while that did this boy has any teacher or mentors who guide him when he is studying his project?
What do I know about Africa?
I know that most people there is blacker than me, I mean the African were my fellows because I born there…..I know that African’s average development is lower than the average of most countries in the world. But African has very rich nature resources. Most people lived there has black skin, even blacker than me!
